For your consideration one Thomas RBRF4 bullet 277 Selma Arsenal. You will find this bullet to be in excellent dug condition. The patina is a light brown color, pretty much still covered with dirt...I do not see a single patina chip. One mold seam can be faintly seen. The skirt is thick & the cavity is a cone. Measures about 0.52 x 0.975 inches. Dug from the North Georgia area.
Thomas describes a Vicksburg rifle as Kentucky long rifles/Country rifles rebored to 0.54 caliber most like at Vicksburg and or Holly Springs, MS arsenals.
